The Sety family has served the Chewelah, Washington community for 120 years. After a fire in August 2023 destroyed the store, they turned to a temporary store made up of 15 shipping containers to continue serving customers while planning their rebuild. When the new store opened, the family preserved meaningful elements of the original hardware store, honoring both their history and the community they call home.

Butters Ace Hardware is a new store in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, created to serve as a gathering place for the community while honoring Ace's roots - complete with a storefront awning modeled after an airplane wing. The store prioritizes local brands and offers a thoughtful product mix that reflects the character of the area. True to Ace's helpful promise, Butters Ace supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, local organizations and is committed to serving and providing opportunities to others in the community.

The heart of a community is often found in the people who dedicate their lives to serving it. For years, Dave Jasso was one of those people. As the owner and operator of Cantonment Ace, alongside his wife Amy, Dave built more than a business.

It's impossible to know when the opportunity to help save a life might present itself. For Adam and John, employees at Crete Ace Hardware in Crete, Illinois, their opportunity came at closing time on a cold winter evening in February.
