Marmac Ace Hardware

Marmac Ace Hardware was founded in 1971 by Bill & Maureen Marrs, and Joe & Betty McCurdy. Our local family owned business started with a simple philosophy of "giving". Back then, our store had no air conditioning, only seven employees, and just a few hundred items to sell. We have grown over the years and now have air conditioning, over 30 wonderful employees, and offer over 40,000 items. We are known as the best customer service provider on island which is what keeps our customers coming back to shop. They love that there is always a friendly Marmac employee to greet them and help them find what they need to get their project done. We also serve free coffee and popcorn to our wonderful customers on a daily basis. 47 years after startup, Marmac continues to do business in our community with the philosophy of giving and treating others like their own family.
