Hometown Ace Hardware Farm & Garden

Hometown Farm & Garden was established in March 1972, by J.A. Girgenti, in a bakery building located 1.5 blocks south of our present location. Hometown was given this name to represent "down-home service." This service oriented philosophy was and will always be the backbone of Hometown. Hometown originally operated as a feed, seed, lawn and garden, and nursery retailer with very minimal hardware. In 1978, after outgrowing our location J.A. moved into the present location. We began expanding our feed and hardware lines with this added inventory space. Hometown became a Purina Dealer in 1980 and an Ace Hardware Dealer in 1983.In 1996, Hometown Farm & Garden incorporated and became Hometown Ace Hardware. In 2001, J.As nephew, Craig Tassin took over the day-to-day business operations and added lumber, propane and continues to add inventory based our growing customers needs. Visit us today!
