Ace Hardware of East Texas is locally owned and operated, and is proud to serve both Panola and Shelby Counties. Begun as East Texas Poultry Supply in the late 1950's by John Alvis Howard and company, the business grew to meet the demands of a rapidly expanding poultry industry in East Texas. Eventually, East Texas Poultry became a full line Ace Hardware store. Our Carthage store joined the family in 1998, and proudly caters to local as well as surrounding areas of Panola County. As a member of the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the industry, Ace Hardware of East Texas is committed to being the Helpful Place by offering our customers knowledgeable advice, helpful service and quality products.
