Memorial Hardware

Memorial Hardware, A locally owned hardware store opened in 2020 in the middle of downtown Swanton. The store is located in the renovated historic Memorial Building that was constructed as the local gymnasium and dedicated to the World War II veterans of Swanton in 1948. In the late 1970's the building was turned into a warehouse and closed to the public until Memorial Hardware was opened as part of Swanton's downtown revitalization initiative. We stock everything you would find in a typical hardware store like paint, plumbing and electrical supplies, but we also stock a large assortment of pet supplies, lawn and garden items, small appliances, storage items, and a propane filling station.
