Redd's Ace

Located in Northeastern Arizona, Page is one of the youngest cities in the United States originally established in 1957 as a camp for workers who were in the area building the massive Glen Canyon Dam. In 1958 the Bureau of Reclamation traded a track of land owned by the government to the Navajo Nation for approximately 24 miles and with that the city of Page would be born. Of course those working on the dam as well as those residents of Page who where building homes needed supplies and to fill that need a hardware store owned by a local resident was opened in 1961. In 1975 the store was sold to the Boston family who successfully owned and operated the store for 45 years. In May of 2020 the three Boston Brothers decided it was time to retire and sold the store to Dallin Redd a forth generation hardware store owner from south eastern Utah allowing the Redd's Ace Hardware after 110 years of operation in it's own right to acquire it's second location in the four corners region.
