About Rain Barrels

Rain barrels collect water from your home’s roof using a rain barrel diverter that connects to the downspout and directs water into the barrel. When the barrel is full, the diverter will direct water from the barrel back to the downspout to flow away from your home’s foundation. The diverter includes a filter or screen to keep debris and insects out of the water contained within your rain barrel. If your barrel does not include one, you may want to add a spigot to allow water to easily be released into a sprinkling can to water your lawn and garden.
Most rain water barrels contain all parts required for complete installation; however, if you choose to build the barrel yourself, we offer rain barrel kits. These kits are also ideal if you should need to replace an old or worn rain barrel part.
